Portable music & PA systems with a built in iPod dock or the option to add an iPod dock to them.
These system all have a docking cradle with the ubiquitous iPod connector. Using an iPod dock gives better sound quality than using the headphone output and connecting that to an auxiliary input. The dock also charges the iPod or iPhone and helps to protect it.
The Numark iPod dock also gives control of your iPod via larger format control buttons on the front of the unit.
